...and u've tuned into Radio Jhankaar powered by Worldspace!!1

well hello and waaaaaaaats up people...here i am...2 am...sunday...after more than ten days of painful work...well i have been interning in Worldspace bangalore for almost ten days now...and i must say that lifes fun out here...its quite tough though...but am happy that i need not sit at home and get bored but work and get some real cool experience...Worldspace was like some dream come true for me...here i was...working with a satellite channel...people like a r rahman, santana promote them(saw santana is some ad online)...i am literally working among celebrities...meet the superstars of the radio...who are known by their voices and their excellent song selection than actors who are known for their latest break ups and patch ups...feels nice to have these rj's actually talk to me...am working under this lady called supriya...shes very very sweet...n quite friendly..she doesn't make me feel that am an intern...n talks as if we are friends...thats some skill...i have heard her on record and man...does she sound good...uff...she sounds so good on the radio...and i like that fact that she knows how to spur people towards their best performance...

i rem when i was asked to make promos first...i came out with really stupid stuff...trust me...they were quite dumb(but that time i thot they were too good!!!)...but she said that i need to come out with something that would make people say-now how did that boy think about this concept!!!she would make a good leader...n then theres RJ Sulagna...i dont interact with her at all...but i feel shes nice at heart and committed to work..if she wants the computer for sometime, she would ask sweetly...nice lady...theres one more RJ called Fizza...whom i havent met...but am so sure that i must have seen her...but its only that i don't know her name...then theres this other guy who sits next to me sometimes...i dnt know his name...but i think hes from the english channel...hes quite nice...n i would call him quite cool...he dances on the chair swaying to the music that he would be listening to on the headfones...am not saying thats bad or funny...all am saying is that is you should be passionate about your work and not let your external environment stop you...n thats what he does exactly...he suffering from insomnia...after all the evesdropping that i have done i know that he hasnt slept for long...but he does his show the normal way...the nice way...he lives the music...n hes nice too...then theres sharon n vijay who sit rite behind me...nice people...close friends...from cigarettes to tips on sound forge, they share everything...there are so many people in the office that i cant describe them in a single go...there are people from my college too...feels nice to see people from my college here...they are seniors whom i havent even met while in college...

i gave my voice for interstitials too....twas abt nasseeruddin shah...i couldnt pronounce naseeruddin shah properly...i was pronouncing it as-nassurdin shad!!!...but twas ok after sometime...twas aired on the 20th i guess...

it has been quite hectic for me thruout ths week...cos am rite now on a 14 hour work schedule which includes the time spent travellin n the breakfast n lunch thing...i leave home at about 730...n come by 9...but its worth it...cos i have my breakfast everyday at Indian Coffee House MG Road...MG Roads literally empty at 8 in the morn...n Brigade Road looks like this sidey road...empty wid no one on the street...

am learnin a lot from this internship...not just about radio...but also about bangalore...there is so much to see...so much to experience..earlier i had no clue to sip a coffee in Indian Coffee House at one of the most famous roads in the country and look at ex-service men sipping their coffee...n i see so many people....my next blog will eb bout the Indian COffee House...so you can know abt my experience there...
